SUSANA WILLIAMS QUARTET
Winegarden Park : 2:45 pm : by Donation
Susana Williams is a producer, composer, singer, musician and performer now living on the Sunshine Coast.

Her musical career began in Caracas, Venezuela at the age of 13 when a professional band began rehearsing in her apartment building’s basement. The group of musicians let her sing one day for a laugh – only to hire her on the spot. In 1998 Susana left Venezuela and immigrated to Canada and has been creating and performing ever since. She has shared the stage with internationally award-winning artists Arturo Sandoval, Poncho Sanchez, Johnny Rivera, Adonis Puente and Alex Cuba.

For her first time playing at the Gibsons Jazz Festival she will be performing with her Jazz Quartet with Andre Carrasquero, piano and guitar; Cameron Hood, bass; Jack Duncan, percussion.
