Katherine Penfold and her 5 piece band!
featuring Max Zipursky, Matt Reid, Paul Clark, Vince Mai, Jon Bentley

MAIN STAGE SATURDAY STREET FESTIVAL EVENT :
Saturday June 22 : 12:15pm -
included in wristband price $20 advance, $25 at the gate
Katherine Penfold
We are excited to have our own Katherine Penfold, vocals, Max Zipursky, keys, Matt Reid, bass, Paul Clark, drums, Vince Mai, trumpet and Jon Bentley, sax.

Katherine's interest in music began with her introduction to Celtic. Learning her jigs and reels vocally instead of by instrument, Katherine extended her vocal range, uniquely preparing her to fall madly in love with everything Soul, Blues and Jazz by the time she was in her 20's.

Storytelling has always been the passion that drives Katherine; regardless of genre she is able to convey genuine feeling and heartfelt emotions with her lyrics.

Having sold out venues across Central and Western Canada, she has taken the stage with artists like Hugh Laurie, Jeff Lorber, Brad Turner, and Juno nominated bassist Jodi Proznick. Katherine Penfold is a name you want to look for and a show you don't want to miss!
