CHATELECH JAZZ BAND
Virtual: 2:00pm : by donation
Recorded live in their Covid-friendly theatre at Chatelech Secondary
Chat Jazz Band The Chatelech Jazz Band is conducted by teacher/musician, Tom Kellough and are performing and recorded in their 'Covid-friendly' performance space at Chatelech Secondary. These young musicians have not been able to play for the public all year ... as well as last year. Some will be graduating and moving on so this is a great opportunity for one last jazz performance and last chance to play with the band before they graduate and move on. And, we get to see and hear them 'virtually'.

Music is so important in our school system and for all the emerging talent we have in the community so tune in and show your support for these great kids.

Members include: Rebecca Taylor, alto; Sam McGarry, tenor 1; Callum Baxter, tenor 2; Noah Ord, trumpet 1; Ron Nelson, trumpet 2; Delamare George, trombone 1 (trumpet solo on How Long Has This Been Going On); Steve Nelson, trombone 2; Matthew Douglas, piano; Josh Paolozza, drums; Jack Davis, bass

KATHERINE PENFOLD with SCOTT VERBEEK
Virtual: 2:15pm : by donation
Recorded live from the studio of Katherine Penfold
Katherine Penfold We are excited to have Katherine Penfold, vocals, return for this most unusual year of pandemic restrictions. Katherine, along with being a talented singer/songwriter is an exceptional videographer and will be recording her set in her own newly built studio, built by Katherine who is also a whiz with power tools.

Katherine Penfold performed at our festival for the first time in 2014 and has come a long way, now writing, producing and videoing original material and selling out shows in Vancouver and beyond. Katherine will be performing neo-soul originals and jazz favourites for us this year with the amazing guitarist Scott Verbeek.
